Redefining Inclusion

In a scenario where transphobia, ageism, caste discrimination, discrimination against people with disabilities and discrimination along the lines of religion are everyday realities; Solidarity Foundation, Queer Arts movement India QAM(I) and The Planet Romeo Foundation held a one-day workshop that aimed at ‘Redefining Inclusion’, with panellists and the audience sharing their ideas about handling situations of violence, violations, discrimination and despondency. The workshop focused on a panel discussion featuring LGBTQIA-identifying individuals from each of the problem areas: caste discrimination, internalized ageism, discrimination against people with disabilities, 'queer' discrimination and discrimination along the lines of religion through hands on activities and open discussions. Attendance was limited to sexual minorities only.
